Price of Living

My post earlier in April touched base on the price of oil, and how it continues to increase daily. I'm sure this father and daughter are doing nothing other than enjoying a beautiful day in the neighborhood, but this picture of them passing a gas station with prices reaching a phenomenal $4.33 a gallon is quite frightening. If you eliminate the little girl off of the bike with her pink basket and teddy bear you will find yourself looking at a scary image. A report by Goldman Sachs Group Inc. states that oil prices will reach $150 to $200 dollars a barrel within two years. With the price of oil today at $126 per barrel, they seem right on track. Pretty soon this country will reach the point where middle class living standards will be "unsustainable" as Paul Watson puts it in his article for Prison Planet.
