Whatsup viewers! The Wu Tang Clan is coming to Philadelphia January 10th 2008 at the Electric Factory. Concert starts at eight pm sharp! I'm gonna get my tickets soon, because I gotta feeling that they are going to be gone in a week or so! The second and first floor seats will both be priced at 120 dollars. My Condolences

I just wanted to take the time to give my condolences to Kanye West and his family after their lost of Dr. Donda West. Kanye's mother Donda West passed away at the age of 58, Tuesday, November 14, 2007. Never stop showing love to the people closest to you yall. Don't take this time we have here for granted. Nike's Nostalgia

So I'm in finish line today, and I come across some shoes that looked destroyed. In a strange way, I thought they were hot. They had that vintage look that is now suprisingly taking over. Nike has just released their recreation of this 1977 running shoe. I noticed that the shoe was made with a nylon and suede upper; causing this throwback to be very light. The feature I think you will find most distinctive about these sneakers are the colors. I'm not going to sit here and act like I have a clue on what was going on in 1977 as far as fashion goes, but with the way styles are changing now... I think these will do well. Leave a comment. While doing my internet round abouts before class today, like always I check out Heron Preston's page. If you haven't heard of Heron yet, he's a young connoisseur who lives the crazy fast life out in NY. Heron recently put up a post called "HARSH! Lifestyle." "HARSH Lifestyle", is a magazine that just dropped out in Bulgaria. Yeah! Even though the site is almost completely written in Bulgarian, there was this one video that had me like, WOW! There is this model chick who is getting done up before a quick photo shoot. Talk about modification. The chick looks nothing like the girl from before. Earlier this afternoon, I came across some interesting conversation amoungst some pretty cool people I met in the book store. I couldn't help but be amazed by this crazy commercial that was supposedly shot before the whole "AIDS" epidemic. It was called the "AYDS" diet plan! Yes I know, AIDS and AYDS are spelled two totally different ways, but it sounds horrible. I was sitting at my computer shocked. I could not laugh, respond, or react at all. I am a Philadelphia native; I have been living here all of my life. Glancing through the "Philadelphia Weekly" I was taken back by a phenomenal artist. David Kessler, previously a painting major at Montclair State in New Jersey, has taken up a one year project (2007) here in Philadelphia. His subject, "The El." In 1922 the El train was built. The train led a path into the very core of Kensington. This train was built to transport employees to the many factories which once stood in Philadelphia. Underneath the shadows of the train tracks which stand high above inner city philadelphians lies an entire world of its own. Day after day David Kessler captures this world on his Sony Handicam and tripod. He films everything from the life of a prostitute, to hard working parents. I visited his blog almost immediately after I read the article, and it is intense. His filming technique is almost addictive! What is my bio? I try to be a safe haven from this crazy life we all live.
